Turkeys are settling in nicely
Tina and Tanya, the rescued turkeys of 2tenFM fame, are doing really well with Rachel and her family. This is her latest report:

Thanks to the concerted effort of Thames Valley Vegans and Vegetarians (T3V) and others from around the country, Tina the turkey was saved from the usual fate this Christmas.

Legal Liberations have 100's of freed chickens to rehome this Spring. Please offer some a home if you can.
Fireworks for caged animals - you can complain
Here's a concerning message we were sent about a huge fireworks display close to caged animals in this area. It is probably too late for anything to be done about it this year, but any complaint you make now may encourage taking into consideration the well being of the animals at Beale Park in future years. Fireworks displays are planned very far in advance and so it would not be too soon to ask them to change their displays to more animal-friendly ones in future.
