Plans are being made to fence Kingwood Common and allow cattle to be raised on it. The Kingwood Common Preservation Group has been formed to fight this attack on common land and the environment.

The growing smoothie firm, RDA Organics, donated a prize to Sophie and her family. Sophie was entered into a prize draw after sponsoring the Vegan Coast to Coast Walk, and was delighted to be offered free smoothies for her 2 kids and their class mates for 3 days - that's 60 smoothies a day! The kids at school have been buzzing about them ever since.

Two riders of the Reading CC were involved in a road traffic accident near Henley (Oxfordshire, UK) last Thursday evening. Anthony Maynard died at the scene, while Dave Ivory is in hospital. The club is in mourning about the loss of Maynard and is hoping for a speedy recovery of Ivory.
