The growing smoothie firm, RDA Organics, donated a prize to Sophie and her family. Sophie was entered into a prize draw after sponsoring the Vegan Coast to Coast Walk, and was delighted to be offered free smoothies for her 2 kids and their class mates for 3 days - that's 60 smoothies a day! The kids at school have been buzzing about them ever since.

Card: Year 4, The Hill School Both classes made lovely thank you cards for mum Sophie, and here's the one from the year 4 children. She was really touched, and pleased that they enjoyed them so much.

The smoothies came in pouches which you squeeze. The 5 and 6 year old Year 1 children had no problem with these, but for some reason the 8 and 9 year old Year 4 kids found them harder to squeeze. Maybe little hands are more determined!

The kids at school have quickly found out where they can get more - at Tesco and large Waitrose stores. One at least is already having them in his packed lunches. So lovely George at RDA is hopefully reaping a small reward for his generosity in support of the Coast to Coast walk for St Francis Animal Welfare by the amazingly fit Gemma and Ben.
