"Colin and I have found this nice little Indian Restaurant recently. It is owned and run by a couple (Nina and Ram) taking early retirement. After many years in Reading and "eating out" and not finding the perfect restaurant (Nina is Veggie), they decided to buy their own!!
"They are not cooks themselves but have picked cooks that can provide what they want and they are very eager to please being prepared to go the extra mile. The Bay will cook me special dishes if I ring in advance. They are sweet couple and perfect hosts, the restaurant is immaculate and the food GOOD and well priced. We usually get a little extra to try!!! We too have tried most Indian restaurants in Reading and the Bay compares favorably.

The Bay's on-line menu shows that most kinds of curry dishes have a vegetable version, and there are plenty of side dishes. They are just a bit thin on veggie starters which confusingly come under the "meat" starters listing! As with most omnivore restaurants, be sure to be clear about no eggs or dairy to ensure vegan vegetarian dishes.
