Sushi is a fishy business, but there are lots of options for veggies, most of which are vegan too. Some of the dishes here is shipped in from Japan by the sound of it, so knowledge of ingredients can be rather lacking.
However they have tofu parcels (thin tofu filled with rice) which are one of my favourite kinds of sushi, and great for people not fond of seaweed. They also do a variety of veggie maki (seaweed and rice rolls), including avocado, cucumber, red pepper or asparagus. We've yet to discover if any of their vegetarian hot dishes are vegan - the staff in the shop seemed rather clueless when we popped in to ask such things. They also had no idea if their food contains the allergen monosodium glutimate (MSG) or not.
Everything is £2 a plate, which are small so you will need several to fill you. A nice idea for a quick snack on the way to John Lewis perhaps.
Have a read of the menu.
