Milkshake bar on Union Street boasting soya milk and an
amazing range of things to put in
it. Vegetarian owner. Try their new vegan organic milk shake (made
with Tofutti) from August 2004 - a Thames Valley Veggies initiative.
You will pay a bit more for your vegan milkshake because the
ingredients are organic, better and not government subsidised.
It's well worth it of you like thick creamy shakes.
They have a list of which ingredients are vegan and which are
veggie (others contain such things as gelatine).
They now also sell chips.
Other branches around the South of the UK. Check their website for details.
Shake away are now showing generous support for the veggie
community and recent were a major sponsor of the Bristol Vegan Fayre -
thanks Shakeaway.
