Description
The best smelling shop going, Lush's ecological message is clear. All products are vegetarian and over half are vegan. The majority of products have little or no packaging, nothing is tested on animals and many of the products are organic.
The staff in the Reading store, like all their others, are helpful, and can advise on vegan goodies. You can also pick up a free copy of the 'Lush Times' in store which will indicate vegan products or go to their web site for mail order and more information.

"I have not rated food as Lush is NOT a restaurant! Lush do lovely bath bombs, soaps, shampoo, shower gel, jelly soap and much more. They even do little parcels full of Lush products (great birthday gifts)! In town in Reading there is one in the Oracle."

"I love Lush, and the kids do especially. It's the perfect place to buy presents and stocking fillers as well as to treat yourself. It is little known that they now do perfumes, and the Breath of God scent is amazing. That's a rare comment from me, who generally loathes perfumes. Because the smells are so natural I don't get a migraine here like I do in department store cosmetic areas."
"I get a migraine just walking BY the store. Besides, every time I have used their soap-related products I end up with some kind of unsightly rash.... I'm steering clear for now."
