Description
This spacious, smart and stylish Indian restaurant is snuggled upstairs in Kings Walk, behind Debenhams and next to Mothercare.
On the Bengal Reef menu there are no main dishes for vegetarians. However they can make a vegan version of most dishes on the menu, and are accommodating to suggestions such as a Channa Bhuna, Vegetable Handhi and Spinach Dopiaza, all very individually flavoured and delicious.
The staff are happy to ask the chef to tone down the spiciness of the dishes as well as up. Simply request what suits your pallet.
To Bengal Reef: Please make a separate vegan/vegetarian main dish menu section, even if you only print this separately! More vegans and vegetarians will come then.
Since this place is so tucked away it doesn't get as much trade as it deserves considering the high quality of the dishes. If it is open its sign will be outside on the street.
