Description
The most relaxed restaurant on the list with a large vegetarian (mainly vegan) menu of simple but tasty food. Ideal for those wanting a change from the oiliness of Indian and Asian food.
Dishes are small so you need a lot of them to fill a hungry vegan, but the flavours are memorable. One of the guys at Al Fasia is a Moroccan vegan, so you can order with confidence. We often end up here if we're in Windsor.

"I have been to Al fassia a couple of times now and have enjoyed it every time now and they now have air conditioning installed which makes it even more pleasant. Strongly recommended."

"Even better the second time around! If you haven't been, go. Al Fassia has it all going on: delicious food, decent portions, excellent service, ambient lighting, beautiful music, and reasonable prices -- a perfect combination! "

"What a nice restaurant - the food is deliciously flavourful, the music is great, the prices are VERY reasonable, and the staff are pleasant and helpful. I read in a London restaurant review of Al Fassia that English restaurants could learn something from the serving style of this Moroccan restaurant; I would agree. The servers are polite, unassuming, charming, and intelligent. They also do not rush the dining process in any way! I went with a meat-eater who didn't seem to like his main dish, but we shared and enjoyed the veggie appetizer plate as well as the homous. Both were tasty. For my main, I had a broad bean tagine which I liked, but I think I will try something else the next time I go, which I hope is soon! By the way, there's no air conditioning, so if it's summer, maybe opt to sit downstairs, even though the decor is nice on the top floor."

"This place is fantastic. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly. if you do pay a visit, order the lentil tagine and ask to sit upstairs! "

"I really love Al Fassia, I think it has a lovely atmosphere, nice music and seating, friendly staff and a really nice menu. The food feels healthy as it is not too heavy or greasy. I went there once while on a vegan detox diet and could eat from the menu without struggling. The food is quite simple, but that is Arabic food for you, not just Al Fassia. I would highly recommend it to anyone!"
