House of Spice - Watlington

AVN Score: 1.9 House of Spice dishesPhoto: Sophie High quality omnivore Indian restaurant

The House of Spice is a very happy new discovery for Thames Valley Veggies. The food quality and service are excellent, and above all the vegetarian choice is interesting, since it has both Bangladeshi and South Indian influences.

Dishes are freshly prepared so that for example you can ask for the gorgeous aubergine and green chilli dish without yogurt, just coconut. The pumpkin dish is not to be missed either, and is already dairy-free and vegan.

The House of Spice Watlington has sister restaurants in Thame, Haddenham, Princes Risborough, Gerrards Cross, Abingdon and Wantage, so it might well be worth checking these out too! Please tell us about them if you try them.
