"As a regular customer of Sweet Masala since it opened, I can highly recommend it. The staff are friendly, and the food is authentic and very good. They have catered for me several times and my whole family really enjoy the food. Sweet Masala have even catered for my daughters school for an "Indian" Geography lesson, and were happy to oblige by not adding any hot spices! I have recently heard that they are hoping to expand into the shop next door - this is great news. "

"The food is superb, the service is great, and the prices are even better. You'll be pushed to find a more enjoyable eating experience. Having tried it a few months a go, I can safely say I'm hooked. Long live Sweet Masala. "

"Well I went along after hearing from people at the lunchtime meet how nice it was. I brought a selection of their vegan dishes and it was absolutely delicious and excellent value. If you have not tried it I urge you to do so. I am so glad I did and will use it regularly in future. By the way do try the dosas and bhel puri if you love spicy food you will love this place. "

"We only discovered this place a couple of months ago but have been eating there about once a week since. Undoubtedly the best place in Reading for us to eat both in terms of vegetarian/vegan food and Indian food. South Indian food is not common in this country which is a shame because, well cooked as it is here, it's an amazing experience. A different selection of delicious curries each day, The Masala Dosa are amazing and a great variety of bhajis and pakora. I'd also highly recommend the vegetarian kebab and the jeera mogo chips. "

"One of the best reasons for living in Reading! The thali (£5 for rice, naan, poppadoms, bhaji & 2 curries) is aboslutely superb value - it is enough for 2 people. The curries change daily and they will happily let you try before you choose which ones you want. They are incredibly friendly people who understand what being vegan means, I love Sweet Masala! "
