Description
We've been invited onto the family meal for a fiver (£5) slot on BBC Radio Berkshire with Debbie McGee on Sunday late morning. Sophie's devised a filling meal for 4 for about £2.60. Hear more on the radio, and see below & our recipes section for details of how to make the dishes yourself. Zuki aged 8 will be on air too to give her opinion of the food!
The meal consists of lentil dhal, boiled/steamed brown rice, steamed vegetables such as carrots and greens, followed by orange and jam sponge pudding with soya custard.
