  <link>http://www.t3v.veggroup.org/events/1047.html</link>
<description>This will be the 6th Veggie Snow trip! Would you like a ski and snow-boarding trip where all the food is vegan? Where relaxing eco-friendly travel is the main option? Where the organiser donates the group leader discount to good vegan, animal and environmental causes? That's Veggie Snow, and Sophie is now booking the March 2009 trip. This season for a one-off cheaper option it will be self-catering in apartments, 100% vegan with all sharing the cooking so it will be very varied and tasty. These popular trips are for anyone who enjoys vegan and dairy-free food and cakes, great snow and good company. Beginners to experts, singles or multiples all welcome. Get in touch quickly if you are interested. Contact us as soon as possible if you are interested, as places are always very popular. There's also a news emailing list you can ask to join. <title>Summer walk and BBQ</title>
  <link>http://www.t3v.veggroup.org/events/1034.html</link>
<description>We're having a Summer barbeque feast at the Red Lion after a gentle walk in the gorgeous Chiltern Hills and woods around the pub to work up your appetite. The excuse is that it's Sophie's 40th birthday weekend, but who needs an excuse for a Summer BBQ? 1:30pm Walk- meet in the car park 3pm - BBQ starts The buffet will be all you can eat so come hungry! Masses of sausages, burgers, salads, tasty extras and dessert. Plus a real live Aussie doing all the BBQing for us. It's exclusively veggie/vegan, so there'll be no nasty burnt meat smells to put you off your dinner! Whatever the weather it's a great venue. There's a huge pub garden with shady spots, a kids play area, a bouncy castle and a covered area they can move the BBQ into if necessary. The inside of the pub is cosy and friendly - an ideal retreat in a thunder storm! Book as soon as you can so we can give them a good idea of numbers as Sunday's a busy day for a pub, and this is a very popular one. The walk is optional, so do say if you'll be coming on that too. Costs As much as you can eat @ &#163;14.95, under 12s &#163;7.50. Where: The Red Lion , Peppard Common, RG9 5LB on Sun 17th Aug 2008 @ 13:30 until 17:30. <title>Summer Sunday Picnic</title>
  <link>http://www.t3v.veggroup.org/events/1036.html</link>
<description>Join us near the lion statue for a Sunday lunchtime picnic in this pretty park right in the centre of Reading. Bring and share vegan food - as simple or as posh as you like and bring a picnic plate/bowl and cutlery for yourself. Share your favourite sweet or savoury dish so we have a lovely yummy vegan spread that everyone can enjoy! Got any outside games? Bring them along and we'll extend it into a fun play about, which you can watch or enjoy. In the unlikely event the weather is iffy we'll picnic in the bandstand, where we'll meet in that case. There's no such thing as bad weather - just inappropriate clothing ;o). We're hoping for sunshine though! Let Vanessa know if you think you'll be there and whether you think you'll bring something sweet or savoury. Plus if we know lots of people are planning on turning up we'll encourage the little cafe to get in some soya milk just in case anyone feels like a cup of tea later! If you won't know anyone, don't worry - Nessie will tell you how to spot us. She could also make suggestions if you are stumped for food ideas. Where: Forbury Gardens Forbury Road, Reading, on Sun 13th Jul 2008 @ 13:30 until 17:00. Contact: Vanessa Payne via website.</description>
