Description

The Green Party is organising a wine tasting locally, it's vegetarian and is also vegan friendly, and is being organised by a Thames Valley Veggies regular, so we thought you'd like to know about it.

Organic and Biodynamic Wines - introduction and tasting with Nick Foster (WSET* Diploma)

As a fund raiser for the Green party, local member Nick Foster will be presenting a number of ethically made and traded wines, which are either organically or biodynamically produced. He will include wines from leading producers such as Chapoutier, Comte Cathare and Borie De Maurel in France, Legenda in Moldovia and Peter Lehmann in Australia. All of the wines are vegetarian, but most of the reds will not be vegan as they use eggs in the process (fining or clearing the wine). We will serve a buffet to go with the wine and we suggest a £10 waged, or £5 unwaged/student/vegan donation**.

The buffet will be vegetarian with lots og choice for vegans. As only half of the wines will be vegan, vegans can pay the unwaged price.

It will be held upstairs in the Stones room at RISC.

It's also a good chance to meet people going on the Climate March in London the next day. You can contact Rob as well for bus tickets for this (or you can make your own way).

In order to cater for the night they will need bookings in advance. For more information or to book please contact Rob White.
