On February the 1st (Thursday) The Alliance for the Planet, a group of environmental associations is calling on all citizens to create 5 minutes of electrical rest for the planet to get the attention of the media and show politicians that global warming is an issue that people want addressed.

Why February 1st? This is the day when the new UN Report on Global Climate change will come out in Paris. This is likely to be the same report that says livestock farming is the biggest contributor to climate change.

If you want to participate just turn off all your lights and electrical appliances at 18:55-19:00 on Thursday.
