Description

Thames Valley Veggies has arranged a fantastic presentation by Nigel Winter (Vegan Society CEO) on eating to slow climate change. It's a very popular talk all over the country. You can join us for a meal afterwards too. For extra impact beyond our group this interactive presentation will be held at the Green Party Spring Conference in Reading.

Details

An excellent presentation by the CEO of the Vegan Society on the huge effect of livestock farming on climate change. We've arranged this to be at a fringe meeting of the Green Party Spring Conference. Nigel Winter is a formidable speaker on this subject and is well worth hearing. Plenty of time for questions too.

There is a daily entry fee to this conference. Food choice is going to be a big topic at the conference, as it is throughout the environmental movement, so you may wish to input elsewhere as well.

Many thanks to T3V/OxVeg Green Party member Sue Tibbles for reserving us this slot at the conference. Suggestions as to how to bring up this topic at other party conferences would be much appreciated!

Eating afterwards

If you'd like to join us for a meal out afterwards, please get in touch.
