Description

The Red Lion are putting on an extra special vegan menu for Valentines night. For 4 Courses it is excllent value at £21.00 per person. Space is limited so book early with the Red Lion directly on 01491 628329. The menu at the moment includes Lemon Potatoe Latkas (a potatoe pancake with advocado cream, to be followed by a passion fruit jelly to refresh the taste buds before the main course which is likely to be an oyster mushroom and pinenut filo tart with brown basmatic rice and roasted vegetables or a butternut squash tart. This to be finished off with one of Lisa's famous vegan puddings perhaps strawberry cheesecake. If you have not tried the Red Lion before you will not be disappointed with a lovely log fire a warm welcome and excellent food, Lisa is an excellent cook and very knowledgeable about vegetarian cooking having been veggie herself for 18 years! So come on you romantics give yourselves a treat.
