Forbury Fever, Reading's World Environment Day
This year, 2006, Reading Borough Council will mark World Environment Day on Saturday 3rd June by focussing on Climate Change, but expecially addressing water and energy issues. Forbury Fever will be family-friendly and fun in this central Reading park.
T3V will have an inspiration stall (with a big green canopy) at the event and we are seeking volunteers to help run it and you can always join the picnic too.

Forbury Gardens are right in the centre of Reading, not far from the town hall and less than 5 minutes walk from the station.
From the station as a pedestrian, turn left out of the main entrance, go along beside where the rail-air buses park and head towards a mini roundabout, go straight across that almost to a large roundabout. Cross your road at the pedestrian crossing, turn left and follow the pavement. You will find Forbury Gardens on your left, with a huge lion statue in the middle.
