Monsters from the garden
Vegetables are nothing to be afraid of even when they look like these chaps. In fact vegetables are your best friends when it comes to having a healthy life.
Can you create a vegetable (or any plant) monster picture? Use whatever hand made medium you like (such as drawing, collage, painting, digital photo print of your hand-made statue, etc).
Prizes
There are prizes to be had from Shakeaway, Lush, Cafe Iguana, Garlands Organic and GNC.
Entries will be judged in age categories and there's no upper limit, so adults can join in the fun too.
Viewing the art entries at Cafe Iguana and Shakeaway
All entries will be going up on the walls of Cafe Iguana, with overflow into Shakeaway both in Reading town centre, from Saturday 20th May.
many pictures will remain up until Sat 3rd June (please collect your artwork by then if you want it back)
The sooner you get your art in the sooner it will be on display. We've already recieved some lovely entries from the Hill School's teatime club before the competition has even officially started!
We'll also be placing entries on a special gallary on this website.
Dates
- Submit your entry to Cafe Iguana from Saturday 20th May until 2pm Sat 27th May. (Don't forget to include your name, age and contact details on your submission.)
- Judging will take place at 3pm on Sat 27th May and will be annouced at T3V's free food fair in Broad Street Mall.
