Evening Meal at the Spice Oven
If you have not done so already now is your chance to experience Reading's most sophisticated Indian Restaurant, the Spice Oven.
For a long time now The Spice Oven has shown its commitment to the vegetarian and vegan community by its varied vegetarian choices (not just a selection of side dishes), clear labelling, the donation of a prize for our Christmas auction and most blatantly its separate vegan menu.
The evening feast will be a vegan buffet at £15.00 per head. Considering what a good restaurant this is, that's great value.
Bajrang, the owner of the Spice Oven, has suggested the following items. If you would like to make a suggestion, by all means do so (but don't take too long about it!).
- Poppodums with chutneys
- Potali Samosa
- Spinach Papad Roll
- Vegetable Bhajia
- Tandoori Brocolli
- Beans Poriyal
- Tofu Xacuti
- Haandi Vegetable
- Aloo Jeera
- Aubergine Spinach
- Dal Tadka
- Pulao Rice
- Roti / Stuffed Spicy Paratha
- Malai Kulfi
- Coconut Ice cream
The restaurant has a number of enclosed areas that are particularly good for groups which means we don't have unlimited seating because once we fill a particular area it would not work well to have others seated in another part of the restaurant, so its essential to book in good time.
Attendence on the night: 36.
