| "Thank you so much for all your hard work on Friday, the children loved it and the food was wonderful; they all got much from the experience." Maria Pratico, Head of RE, St Bartholemew's School, Newbury, May 2009, after a workshop for 125 year 9 students for 2.5 hours, jointly with Sonia a local Animal Aid speaker. |
| Mike Haddrell Deputy Head at Maiden Erlegh was very pleased with the hour session provided for his large upper sixth of 150 students in March 2009. "The session was extremely well prepared and the volunteers led group discussions well. There was a good amount of information and well judged questions to prompt discussion. The students certainly left with food for thought as well as nourishment! Many thanks to you and all your team for an excellent session." |
| "Thank you so much for the talk last Friday. Brilliant and has
really made the kids think and question. Good DVD as well. Will
send that back to you today as last group watching as I write. "We have done a number of lessons following your talk and the pupils are cooking a vegan meal for their next practical." Caroline, Food Tech teacher, Chiltern Edge School, 2008. |
Sophie is happy to cover any and all aspects of vegetarianism and animal ethics through her wide knowledge of these subjects. Her emphasis is factual and fun with plenty of pupil involvement.
We have a pool of excellent local volunteers to call upon to help with more complex workshops and larger group sizes.
Simply contact us at any time if you are interested or think your teacher might be.
